Will definitely like to comment on the food . Both back to back cook Shaun and Jerry are amazing chef . Great sense of humour from Shaun . The rooms are a bit dated . The 1.2g of data per day is not great at all and not good for mental health . If they can change that , it will make it a better vessel to work on . The captain from Australia was pretty sound , easy to chat to . Ps a sauna will be nice .

The recent catering rotas have been different from the one before them. Many meals are too greasy, and healthy options like run out quickly for those on the late shift. I’ve tried asking for more of it, but after not getting it, it’s become an uncomfortable for me to ask. The internet here has always been rubbish. There’s really nothing to do off-shift besides hitting the gym (which I guess is a plus) or watching TV without any decent channels. There’s no quiet room either, and if you want board games or books, you have a very minor set of it.

After Windea Clausius being here feels like huge jump down off the cliff. Even though food can be decent but not everyday. Snacks and soft drinks have not been available in full range but soda machine is there but some drinks constantly “out of order”. Cabins are ok to live in but too small for 2 man cabins and if you are not in the cabin there is nothing else to go to but old gym. The internet is total BS and no TV subscription to watch something what makes life on board miserable. Towels smell like being very old and for long in a storage. Can’t wait to come back on Windea.

99 to 1 that all positive reviews done by those who in charge of it. I lived in several different cabins where lockers are damaged, bathroom appliances are damaged and some taps are as old as the vessel. Mattresses are worth to mention as they are so bad back paint is common thing there. Apart of gym, where everything has been with duct tape and Locktite, there are nothing else to do on Moxie. Having been around on other vessels I can definitely say that Moxie behind the rest of the vessels but yet could have been worse.

A pleasant vessel to live on overall, but the standout thing about the Moxie will always be the food. It's second to none. The two back-to-back chefs are Gerry and Shaun, and between them every meal is amazing. Obviously they couldn't do it without the other members of the kitchen staff, but every meal time I have been spoilt for choice, with at least two or three very tempting options that make it difficult to choose just one! On some vessels the galley is out of bounds at times, particularly prior to meal times, but on the Moxie, you always feel welcome, if you go in for a cup of tea or a snack, regardless of what time of the day or night it is. Both Gerry and Shaun also take the time to get to know every individual on the project crew, engaging in conversation and even remembering all of our names, a very friendly approach, and very refreshing compared to some SOV's. The crew keep on top of the vessels cleanliness and upkeep, housekeeping is of a very high standard. Laundry service has a quick turnaround. Overall the crew are very friendly and always smiling, but also very hard working.

Excellent food on board. I’ve worked on many vessels over the years and I can honestly say the food on this one was some of the best I’ve experienced offshore. Every meal was well prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with care and attention. The quality and consistency were excellent throughout the trip. There was always a great variety of options available and the portions were generous. Everything was fresh, well presented, and properly cooked. It’s clear the chef takes real pride in the food being served. When you’re working away from home, good food makes a huge difference to morale, and the galley team really delivered. A big thank you to Shaun McShane and the entire galley crew for the effort and hard work that goes into producing such great meals every day. Highly recommended and easily a 5-star experience.

I’ve been working off the Moxie on a few other vessels in the industry over the last 7 or 8 months, and it’s plain to see that standards have dropped well below other SOVs. ?Welfare is basically non-existent here: the internet is a joke with no option to buy more, the gym is full of ancient, knackered gear, and the food is a shadow of what it used to be back in the day. ?If you’ve got no other offers, it’s a job at the end of the day—but if you have the choice, you’re much better off heading to one of the newer SOVs

Entier catering company is in charge - completely wrong decision by the owner. This is the worst vessel meals-wise I've ever worked on.

The Moxie overall is an OK vessel. Shared cabins, dated interior, basic gym, food is great, it’s very quiet when operating and the day room is okay but very small. The main issue on this vessel is the WI-FI they allocate you 3GB of internet per week, which in this day and age is ridiculous. Even when connected to Wi-Fi it’s slow and intermittent. It refreshes weekly but does not carry over any unused data.
