I did a 4 day contract onboard the moorhen, from an engineer standpoint it was a dream boat. All the machinery is in good condition and very basic/ simple to work with and operate. The only cabin onboard is reserved for engineer onboard or night engineer. It’s a reasonable size with a comfy bed, tv and desk as well as storage. The food is prepared by the crew and they do a banging breakfast. Easy work, nice crew and nice room.

Absolutely disgusting. Arrived and nobody onboard. No running water or power in the cabin. Had to flush the toilet with a hosepipe. Food everywhere. Unsafe, unseaworthy, unliveable! Didn't stay overnight.
