History and ownership
Built in 2014 by Kleven Verft, the Normand Jarstein Vessel is a Norwegian/NIS offshore support and construction vessel.
It previously sailed under the name Rem Pioneer until March 2017 and is now associated with Solstad Rederi AS/Solstad Shipping AS. Notable work includes North Sea renewables, oil and gas support, WROV activity and cable-related offshore wind assignments.
Technical details
The vessel has a 250-tonne AHC crane, 1,230 m2 deck area and accommodation for 110 workers. It uses a diesel-electric propulsion system and DP2 positioning for high-precision operations.
