It wasn't until we came alongside and the engines shut down that we realised just how noisy the boat is. I was onboard for a Geophysical Survey job and the acoustics were so bad the client cancelled any further operations onboard the Mainport Geo. There was almost no data visible on our screens as it was all occluded by the vessel noise.

Very loud vessel with high noise from engines in cabins on all decks. Rocks and rolls like a boat half its size.
