What a great ship. Esvagt are class leaders, their SMS is above and beyond. They provide excellent support to the vessels. Planned Maintenace was a system called SERTICA which is good, UNISE is used for SMS. The accommodation is superb. Luxury for the type of vessel. The cook when I was there, had been worked in Denmarks top restaurant and it certainly showed in his quality of food - outstanding. The crew split the crew change every 2 weeks so there is always an element of freshness onboard. Both Captains when I was there are top of the game. The crew - great big polish lads that give you confidence if there was ever an emergency, the catering department were also 5 star, keeping everything top class and so clean. The Gym was good and also a boxing gym under deck and aft. Great facilities. SMST gangway and a small crane, very efficient. For a small bot it left a big inpression - even if it did crew change in Grimsby!! Anything that has the word ‘ESVAGT’ on it means top quality.
