History and ownership

The ASL Synergy Vessel was built in 2015 by ASL Shipyard Indonesia in Batam. It’s a high-specification Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) currently owned by Harmony PSV Pte Ltd and managed by ASL Offshore & Marine in conjunction with Tidewater Marine. 

In late 2025, some registries noted the vessel operating under the name Synergy Tide following a management integration with Tidewater. 

Technical details

The vessel is powered by four Caterpillar 3512C primary generators, which provide the power necessary for deepwater supply missions.

• Deadweight: 4,700 tonnes

• Draught: 6.6 metres

It is equipped with advanced DP2 dynamic positioning and navigation systems for high-precision station keeping during cargo transfers.

Operational area

The vessel is primarily active in Southeast Asia. Recent 2026 tracking confirms a consistent operational pattern between Singapore and Batam (Indonesia), where it handles platform supply.

Crew and lifestyle

ASL Synergy jobs generally require STCW-certified offshore experience, BOSIET training, and specialised DP certifications for bridge officers. The vessel accommodates 26 personnel in a configuration of 10 single, 4 double, and 2 quad cabins.
