Today, I’d like to provide some insights regarding the latest new build within the Windea fleet, namely the “Windea Clausius”. My recent project campaign was the EA3 wind farm. Of course, in all fairness, I must admit that my colleagues and I have by now become very accustomed to the conditions of living and working on board a modern CSOV. I would like to point out in advance that, in most cases, the ship’s actual crews cannot be held responsible for any possible shortcomings. Crews have no control over budgets, but they are aware of what would need to be done to satisfy a charterer and its subcontractors during a project campaign. The selection of complimentary soft drinks on board is extensive. The charter party didn’t demand such service, but still it was provided. The catering in general is generous, with daily vegetarian options included. The overall high feeding rate per day makes it a paradise for everyone. There’s a very decent gym available on board that includes a very large 4K TV and sound system. Ship’s Wi-Fi is provided via two independent Starlink antennas and provided that the charterer is willing to allow access after payment of the fee.
