Large construction vessel with predominately Indian and Arab crew. The Marine crew and catering crew on the safeen are very accommodating and helpful, unfortunately the attitude of some of the projects team is questionable and the safety standards are poor. Wellfair There is no day room! Internet connection is ok, via starlink but limited to 1gb a day, there is no office space for contractors and we have to set up in the conference room which is not ideal. AC is good Laundry is good Food is not so good but the chefs will make requests for westerner if they are able too. 4 man cabins are ok from B deck up The gym is plenty enough with smiths machine, up to 40kg dumbell, bike and treadmill. Back deck is busy and untidy but the deck crew, mechanics, and welder fabricators are all willing to assist where they can (as long as the request goes through the chain of command)
