The general cargo ship OCTO PRIME (IMO: 9136125) is a versatile 90-metre multipurpose vessel built in 1996 by the Royal Bodewes shipyard in the Netherlands. Currently sailing under the flag of Antigua & Barbuda, the ship has undergone several identity changes throughout its three-decade service history. It was originally launched as the SWALLOW, a name it held until 2003 when it was briefly renamed WESTERLAND. By 2004, the vessel reverted to its original name, SWALLOW, before being renamed LUMEN in 2017 under the management of Atricamarine. Most recently, in April 2026, the vessel was officially renamed OCTO PRIME while docked in Køge, Denmark, marking the latest chapter in its long operational career.
