The NQ ZINNIA is a seasoned 126-metre chemical and oil products tanker that embodies over a quarter-century of European maritime engineering and logistics. Launched in 1998 by Italy's Cantiere Navale De Poli shipyard as the Venezia D, the vessel spent decades reliably transporting bulk liquid cargoes, such as vegetable oils and chemicals, through challenging northern European trade routes under the management of Navquim. Throughout its long service life, the 10,127-deadweight-tonne tanker maintained operational resilience, notably overcoming a minor engine room fire in 2016 without suffering critical damage. Flying the flag of the Netherlands, this robust workhorse has recently concluded its active trading career and is slated for recycling in Denmark, marking the final chapter of a highly dependable 28-year tenure in the global shipping industry
