History and ownership
Built in 2014 by VARD Aukra (VARD 3 03 design), the Normand Frontier Vessel (IMO: 9687241), formerly Normand Reach and NOL E, is owned and managed by Solstad Maritime. It mainly executes subsea construction, seabed mapping, and survey missions.

It carries ROVs, AUVs, and USVs for seabed site survey and subsea infrastructure projects.
