The BOKA KEEPER was designed for ultra-long distance towing of very large structures such as oil rigs or FPSOs (Floating Production Storage and Offloading units) from building yards to installation sites. 
  • Fuel Capacity: The vessel has a large fuel capacity (3200 cubic meters of HFO and 340 cubic meters of MGO, according to Boskalis) allowing it to tow at full power for up to 45 days without refueling stops across oceans.
  • DP2 System: It is equipped with a DP2 (Dynamic Positioning 2) system, which provides increased system redundancy and assists in precise positioning operations for high-value cargo, enhancing safety during complex tasks.
  • Operational History: The vessel (originally named ALP Keeper) is part of a class of four specialized vessels that have successfully completed numerous long-distance towing projects.

Thanks to the efforts of the crew and the competent management of the ALP company, the seven-year-old vessel is still like new. Hopefully under Boskalis and Anglo Eastern management, the vessels condition will not be lowered.
