The Baltic Steel represents the new generation of versatile, eco-efficient short-sea traders. Built in 2023 and sailing under the Portuguese flag, this 3,850 DWT general cargo vessel is a key asset for the Seacon Shipping Group. Designed with a compact 89.75-metre hull and a gearless configuration, it is optimised for high-frequency regional trade, particularly within the Baltic and Mediterranean corridors. Its modern design prioritises fuel efficiency and high-volume grain capacity (approx. 177,100 m³), making it a reliable choice for transporting steel products, bulk commodities, and breakbulk cargo. Currently managed by Seacon Shipping Germany, the Baltic Steel continues to demonstrate the operational flexibility required to navigate both major international hubs and restricted regional ports with ease.
