ACTA HERCULES (IMO: 9976769) is a state-of-the-art, Netherlands-flagged Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) designed by Ulstein and built by Tersan Shipyard in 2026. Featuring a pioneering bi-symmetric TWIN X-STERN hull design, this 90-metre work vessel is engineered for maximum fuel efficiency, motion comfort, and station-keeping capabilities in harsh offshore environments. It represents a significant step forward in marine sustainability, utilizing a hybrid battery power system and methanol-ready dual-fuel engines. Equipped with a motion-compensated gangway and an advanced 3D crane, the vessel provides walk-to-work transfer capabilities for up to 135 personnel and is currently deployed on a five-year charter with Vestas to support offshore wind farm construction and maintenance in Northwest Europe.
